Philosophy and Mission
At Hatzlaja Early Childhood Academy, we believe every child deserves a safe and stimulating environment to learn, grow, and thrive. Our mission is to foster a love for learning while emphasizing Biblical values, cultural diversity, and creativity.
Hours of Operation
We are open Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please respect these hours, as timely drop-offs and pick-ups are essential for the smooth operation of our academy.
Admission and Registration
Full-time enrollment requires a $50 non-refundable registration fee, all completed forms, and first week’s tuition payment. We welcome children aged 6 weeks to 12 years and prioritize personalized care and structured learning.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
- Families must accompany children to the entrance and sign them in and out daily.
- Late pick-ups after 6:00 PM must be arranged in advance, with additional fees applied for consistent tardiness.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of our children are our top priorities:
- Routine physicals and up-to-date immunization records are required.
- Sick children should remain at home until symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.
- Emergency plans include monthly fire and tornado drills, with clear evacuation procedures.
Behavior and Discipline
Our academy fosters respect, empathy, and problem-solving skills. We employ redirection, timeouts, and privilege removal to guide children through challenging behaviors. Physical punishment is never used.
Meals and Nutrition
We provide nutritious meals and snacks based on federal food guidelines. We do our best to provide food substitutions for children with dietary restrictions or allergies. Mealtime includes prayers, an emphasis on good manners, and the teaching of cleaning up one’s own area, etc.
Safe Sleep and Nap Time
Infants sleep in cribs following safe sleep practices. Children over 12 months have assigned cots for nap time, with personal bedding provided by parents.
Emergency Procedures
In case of emergencies, children will be safely evacuated to an off-campus site. Families will be notified promptly, and reunification will occur at the designated location.
